a. Removal.

Soldier A removes two screws (1) and lockplate (2) from equipment body (3) while Soldier B

holds nuts (4).

Loosen two clamp screws (5) and slide clamps (6) clear of ring (7) and boot (8).

Slide boot (8) back and remove setscrew (9) from lockring (10).

Repeat steps (2) and (3) for other side.
