Apply pipe thread sealing compound

and install bleeder valve (26) and

plug (27) in hoist brake (20).

Install ball (28), retainer (29),

spring (30), and fitting (31) in check

valve (32).

Apply pipe thread sealing compound

and install check valve (32).

Install two preformed packings (33)

and elbows (34).

NOTE

Aline brake with coupling in hoist assembly.

e. Installation.

Install brake assembly (1) with five lockwashers (2) and screws (3).

f. Follow-on Maintenance.

Fill hoist brake with oil (LO 9-2320-279-12).

(2)

Connect hoist brake hoses and tubes (para 17-2).
