Remove cap (1) and attach suitable pressure gage to test port (2).

Put crane in operating condition and engage high idle (TM 9-2320-279-10).

Operate mast up handle (3).

NOTE

If reading is not 3000 psi (20 685 kpa) do steps

If reading is

3000 psi (20 685 kpa) do steps

(8)

and

(9).

Check pressure reading. Reading should be 3000 psi.

Loosen locknut (4) and adjust screw (5)

to lower pressure while operating mast

up function.

Adjust screw to bring pressure up to

3000 psi.

Tighten locknut (4).
