12-175. TELEPHONE STRAP REPLACEMENT (L119)

This task covers:

a. Removal

1.

Remove two locknuts (8), washers (7), and screws (4) footman loop (5), and strap (3) from fixed

door (6). Discard locknuts (8).

2.

Remove strap hook (1) from footman loop (2) and remove strap (3).

NOTE

The telephone strap, remote strap, and cable reel strap are

replaced basically the same. This procedure covers the telephone

strap replacement.

Equipment Condition

Troop seat (R.H.) raised (TM 9-2320-280-10).

b. Installation

1.

Slide strap (3) onto footman loop (5). Install footman loop (5) and strap (3) on fixed door (6) with

two screws (4), washers (7), and locknuts (8).

2.

Attach strap hook (1) on footman loop (2).
