Powertrain Lift Sling Installation

WARNING

To avoid possible injury to personnel and damage to equipment,

ensure shoulder bolts have a raised metal '10.9" material strength

indicator on the head of the bolts.

NOTE

Rope lift slings are awkward and potentially hazardous to

personnel and can cause damage to equipment.

Replace rope lift

sling with powertrain lift sling.

1.

Install powertrain lift sling (5) on cylinder heads (1) with four shoulder bolts (PIN 11502788) (6).

2.

Install shackle (P/N NAS1042-14) (3) on powertrain lift sling (5) with pin (4) and cotter pin (2).
