• Refer to para. 3-24 for 6.5 L serpentine belt removal.

Remove adjusting capscrew (7), lockwasher (8), washer (9), and power steering pump mounting
bracket (11) from alternator support bracket (10). Discard lockwasher (8).
35.
Loosen two capscrews (6) connecting power steering pump mounting bracket (11) to support
bracket (10).
36.
Push power steering pump and alternator assembly (1) towards engine and remove drivebelts (4)
from power steering pump pulley (2), water pump pulley (5), and crankshaft pulley (3).
