Intermediate Clutch

1.

Position front of case (6) up.

2.

Soak composition clutch plates (4) in transmission fluid.

3.

Install three steel clutch plates (5) and composition clutch plates (4) in case (6). Start with steel

clutch plate (5) then alternate between composition clutch plates (4) and steel clutch plates (5).

4.

Install intermediate clutch backing plate (3), with ridge (2) facing up, and snapring (1). Locate gap

in snapring (1) opposite front band anchor pin (7).
