a. Repair circled areas.
Refer to FM 43-2 (Metal

Body Repair and Related
Operations) and TM 9-247
(Welding Theory and
Application).
b. Wire brush all welded
areas and remove any
weld spatter.
c. Pressurize to 10 psi.
d. Use soapy solution.
e. Check for leaks
If leaks are found,
circle area, release
air pressure, and repeat
step 4.
If OK, go to
