a. Removal.

WARNING

The LHS hydraulic system operates at oil pressures up to 1,725 psi (11 894 kPa). Never

disconnect any hydraulic line or fitting without first dropping pressure to zero. Failure to

comply may result in serious injury or death to personnel.

(1)

Disconnect two hose quick disconnects (1) from LHS control box quick disconnects (2).

NOTE

Only remove center screw on engine side of LHS main junction box cover.

(2)

Remove four screws (3), lockwashers (4), and LHS main junction box cover (5) from bracket (6).

Discard lockwashers.

(3)

Loosen captive screw (7) and remove connector (8) from transit valve (9).

(4)

Position drain pan under transit valve (9).

(5)

Remove four screws (10), transit valve (9), and four preformed packings (11) from hydraulic

manifold (12). Discard preformed packings.
