OPERATOR MAINTENANCE
DRIVE VEHICLE FORWARD
INITIAL SETUP:

PREPARE VEHICLE
NOTE
If vehicle has less than 500 miles (805 km), check controls and indicators
often during operation and listen for unusual noises or vibrations. Notify
field level maintenance of any problems.
1.
Remove and stow wheel chocks. (WP 0072)
2.
Ensure cargo body end panels are in place.
3.
Ensure cargo body side panels are secure. (WP 0037)
4.
Ensure grove crane, outriggers, and outrigger pads are secured in stowed position.
(WP 0038)
5.
Ensure all cargo in cargo body is secured.
6.
Adjust air-ride seat and mirrors as needed. (WP 0075)
7.
Adjust four-point seatbelt as needed. (WP 0076)
8.
Ensure air suspension dump valve control is pinned in ‘service’ position. (WP 0027)
9.
Ensure all four suspension ball valves are open. (WP 0043)
10. Ensure tire carrier is secure in raised position.
11. Start engine. (WP 0044)
12. Turn on lights as required.
