Remove screw (1), lockwasher (2), and clamp (3) from fuel injector pump (5). Discard lockwasher (2).

4.

Loosen screw (7) and remove engine stop control cable (4) from swivel (6).

5.

Remove throttle return spring (15) from swivel (14) and throttle return clip (17).

6.

Remove cotter pin (9), pin (16), and swivel (14) from pump lever (8). Discard cotter pin (9).

7.

Remove screw (10), connector (11), and throttle control cable (12) from accelerator rod (13).

WARNING

Diesel fuel is flammable. Do not perform fuel system procedures

near open flame. Injury to personnel may result.

NOTE

Have fuel drainage container ready to catch excess fuel.

8.

Disconnect fuel line (18) from fuel pump elbow (19).

9.

Disconnect fuel line (21) from fuel filter elbow (20).
