NOTE

Perform steps 11 through 13 for M49A2C and M50A3 vehicles.

Remove two locknuts (5) and screws (3) from bracket (7) and front splash shield support (4).

Discard locknuts (5).

12.

Remove two locknuts (6), screws (8), and bracket (7) from supports (9). Discard locknuts (6).

13.

Remove two locknuts (10), screws (2), and supports (9) from tank body sill (1). Discard

locknuts (10).
