The entire series of M1078 vehicles is equipped with a hydraulic system which allows the vehicle to be prepared for
internal air transport in a short time by a minimum number of personnel. Air from the primary and secondary air tanks
(1 and 2, Figure 1-18) powers the air/hydraulic power unit (3). The air/hydraulic power unit supplies hydraulic power
to the rest of the system. The system is controlled by valves in the hydraulic manifold (4).
