18-6. WINDSHIELD WASHER HOSES AND CONNECTOR REPLACEMENT (CONT)

(13) Remove bottom end of hose (7) from lockwire.

(14) Disconnect three hoses (7) from wye splitter (15).

(15) Disconnect three hoses (7) from check valve (16).

b. Installation.

(1) Connect three hoses (1) to check valve (2).

(2) Connect three hoses (1) to wye splitter (3).

NOTE

Steps (3) and (4) require the aid of an

assistant.

(3) Route three hoses (1) through dashboard (4).

NOTE

All three connectors and hoses are installed

the same way. Center connector and hose

shown.

(4) Install three connectors (5) and nuts (6) in cab (7).

(5) Connect three hoses (1) to three connectors (5).
