Retaining rings are under tension and can

act as projectiles when released. Failure

to

comply

may

result

in

injury

to

personnel.

(1) Remove retaining ring (1) from P3 planetary ring gear

(2).

(2) Remove P2 planetary carrier (3) from P3 planetary ring

gear (2).

(3) Remove retaining ring (4) and P2 indexing ring (5) from

P2 planetary carrier (3).
