NOTE
Left and right side safety chains are removed the same way. Left side
shown.
(2) Disconnect safety chains (2) from shackles (3) of M1089 and from shackles (4) on
disabled vehicle.
(3) Stow two safety chains (2) in tool box.
(4) Disconnect intervehicular cable (5) from receptacle (6) on disabled vehicle.
(5) Disconnect other end of intervehicular cable (5) from receptacle (7) on M1089.
(6) Stow intervehicular cable (5) in tool box.
