b. Installation.

(1) Position

seals

(1)

fan

housing

(2)

on

transmission auxiliary oil cooler (3).

NOTE

Perform step (2) on vehicles equipped with

transmission oil cooler tubes.

(2) Install two preformed packings (4) on 90-degree fittings

(5 and 6).

NOTE

Perform step (3) on vehicles equipped with

transmission oil cooler hoses.

(3) Install two preformed packings (4 and 7) on 90-degree

fittings (5 and 6).

(4) Position 90-degree fittings (5 and 6) in transmission

auxiliary oil cooler (3).

(5) Tighten two jam nuts (8) on 90-degree fittings (5 and 6).
