c. M1085 Removal.
CAUTION
When removing bolts, continuous removal of
collars is mandatory.
Failure to comply will
result in seizing of collar to bolt.
NOTE
• Steps (1) through (4) require the aid of an
assistant.
• Left and right side of rear bumper is removed
the same way. Left side shown.
(1) Remove three collars (1) and bolts (2) from rear bumper
(3). Discard collars and bolts.
(2) Remove three collars (4) and bolts (5) from rear bumper
(3). Discard collars and bolts.
(3) Perform steps (1) and (2) on right side of rear bumper.
(4) Remove two collars (6), bolts (7), and rear bumper (3)
from vehicle. Discard collars and bolts.
