b Dynamic Test.

(1)

Extend boom (1) to 16 feet, 0 inches.

(2)

Position boom (1) approximately 15

for a load

radius of 15 feet, 6 inches.

(3)

Connect 2200 lb test weight (2) to crane hook (3).

(4)

Raise test weight (2) approximately 18 inches with

hoist (4).

(5)

Record dimension A, distance test weight (2) is

from ground.

(6)

Record dimension B, extension length of jack

cylinders (5).

(7)

Shut down engine (TM 9-2320-366-10-1).

(8) Allow MHC to remain undisturbed for 30 minutes.

(9)

Measure dimension A, distance test weight (2) is

from ground.

(10) Measure dimension B, extension length of jack

cylinders (5).

(11) Start engine (TM 9-2320-366-10-1).

(12) Rotate test weight (2) to left and right and back to

center line.

(13) Lower test weight (2) to ground with hoist (4).

(14) Disconnect 2200 lb test weight (2) from crane hook

(3).

Follow-On Maintenance

Stow MHC (TM 9-2320-366-10-1).

End of Test.

NOTE

Dynamic test is performed with a test load of

100% of crane rated load on Range Diagram

for this boom extension and radius.

The

overload protection system should not

prevent lifting of this test weight.

NOTE

Maximum allowable drift of jack cylinders

and test weight is one inch in 30 minutes.
