16-86. PAY-OUT HYDRAULIC MOTOR REPLACEMENT (CONT)

(4) Remove two fittings (3) from pay-out hydraulic motor (1).

(5) Remove two preformed packings (7) from fittings (3).

Discard preformed packings.

(6) Remove star gear (8) and drive gear (9) from pay-out

hydraulic motor (1).

(7) Remove key (10) from pay-out hydraulic motor (1).

b. Installation.

NOTE

Left and right side pay-out hydraulic motors

are removed the same way. Left side shown.

(1) Install key (1) in pay-out hydraulic motor (2).

(2) Install drive gear (3) and star gear (4) on pay-out

hydraulic motor (2).

(3) Install two preformed packings (5) on fittings (6).

(4) Install two fittings (6) in pay-out hydraulic motor (2).
