(6) Remove rod (7) from cylinder barrel (1).

NOTE

Steps (7) and (8) require the aid of an

assistant.

(7) Remove cylinder barrel (1) from vise.

(8) Position rod (7) in vise.

(9) Remove seal assembly (8) from piston (9). Discard seal

assembly.

(10) Remove setscrew (10) and piston (9) from rod (7).

(11) Remove guide lock ring (11) from piston (9).

(12) Remove two back-up rings (12) and preformed packing

(13) from piston (9).

Discard back-up rings and

preformed packing.
