(8) Position cylinder rod (2) in vise with eye of cylinder rod

between vise jaws.

(9) Remove nut (5) from cylinder rod (2).

(10) Remove piston (6) from cylinder rod (2).

(11) Remove preformed packing (7) from cylinder rod (2).

Discard preformed packing.

(12) Remove bearing (8) from cylinder rod (2).

(13) Remove cylinder rod retainer (4) from cylinder rod (2).

(14) Remove seal (9) from piston (6). Discard seal.
