15-7. TORSIONAL

DAMPER REPLACEMENT (Co&d)

1.

Apply lubricating oil to seal (3) surface and torsional damper (1).

2.

Align torsional damper (1) with woodruff key (2) and install torsional damper (1) on crankshaft (4)

far enough to install washer (5) and capscrew (6). Secure torsional damper (1) with capscrew (6).

Tighten capscrew (6) to 140-162 lb-ft (190-220 N-m).
