is unsafe for road travel. Do not perform open-road driving when NO

TRANSIT indicator is illuminated. Failure to comply may result in injury

or death to personnel and damage to equipment.

Release joystick (20) when LHS hook (21) is fully stowed and NO TRANSIT indicator

light (26) goes out.

CAUTION

While maneuvering vehicle in the immediate vicinity of the loading or

unloading site, LHS MODE SELECT switch may be in any setting.

However, LHS MODE SELECT switch must be set to OFF prior to road

travel, to prevent damage to main frame and hook arm cylinders.

32.

Turn LHS MODE SELECT switch (16) to OFF.

33.

Set PTO ENGAGE switch (17) to OFF position. Indicator light (18) will go out.

34.

Ensure hold-down locks (11) have handles pushed in to lock BAP to vehicle.
