NOTE
The THAAD rear air ride suspension system consists of two independent suspension
control systems, one on each side of the vehicle.
Both systems are identical and are
diagnosed the same way.
The following steps identify which system is malfunctioning
and troubleshoots the malfunction to the fault in that system.
Step 1.
Start engine (
Charge air system to 100 to 120 psi (690 to
827 kPa). Allow air suspension system to adjust to correct ride height and shut off
engine (
Monitor air suspension system and determine which side
of the vehicle is not maintaining correct ride height.
Perform Steps 2 through 5 on system that does not maintain correct
suspension ride height.
