Remove two locknuts (5) and screws (6) from stowage box (4) and right-hand bracket (7). Discard locknuts.

3.

Remove two locknuts (8), washers (9), springs (10), and screws (11) from stowage box (4) and left-hand

bracket (12). Discard locknuts.

WARNING

Stowage box weighs 130 lbs (59 kg). Do not attempt to lift stowage box without the

aid of Soldier B and a suitable lifting device. Failure to comply may result in serious

injury to personnel.

Attach suitable lifting device to stowage box (4).

5.

With the aid of a suitable lifting device, Soldier A and Soldier B remove stowage box (4) and four snubbers

(13) from right-hand bracket (7) and left-hand bracket (12).
