Semitrailer disconnected from prime mover (refer
to WP 0007 00)
Semitrailer grounded (refer to WP 0007 00)
Negative terminal disconnected from battery (refer
to WP 0007 00)
Alternator removed (refer to WP 0116 00)
REMOVAL
NOTE
It will be necessary to rotate crankshaft to access mounting
screws securing flex plate to alternator drive belt pulley.
Engine is turned using crankshaft pulley bolt.

Remove eight screws (1) and lockwashers (2) from ring (3) and flywheel (4). Discard lockwashers.
