Hydraulic system is under high pressure. Follow system safety procedures to prevent
injury (TM 9-2350-238-20-2). Wipe
UP
spilled hydraulic fluid.
Turn on hydraulic system. Refer to TM 9-2350-238-10.
Loosen nut (7) on tow winch pressure relief valve (2).

not allow pressure to go over 2000 psi (13,790 kpa). Failure to follow instructions
may result in damage to equipment.
Hold TOW WINCH control handle (8) in full IN position and read oil Pressure tester”
Adjust pressure for tow winch pressure relief valve (2) to between 1625 and 1775 psi
(11,204 and 12,229 kPa) by turning screw (9) counterclockwise to decrease pressure or
clockwise to increase pressure.
When correct pressure adjustment is obtained, tighten nut (7).
