ADJUSTMENT
1.
Check that commander’s hatch cover latches tightly with a firm latching action.
2.
To increase pressure of l atch plate (4) on strike (11), add spacers ( 8) betw
een eye b racket
(5) and hull. To d ecrease
pressure, use fewer spacers.
3.
TIGHTEN SCREWS (6) TO 300-360 LB-IN (34-41 N·M) TORQUE. Use torque wrench.
