REPLACE COOLANT HEATER — Continued

Remove shutoff valve (5) and bushing (6) from tee (7).

Remove elbow (8), bushing (9), and tee (7) from heater (10).

4.

Loosen clamp (11). Remove pump-to-heater hose (12) from elbow (13).

5.

Remove elbow (13) from heater (10).

6.

Loosen two clamps (14). Remove heater (10) from bracket (15).

7.

Remove four screws (16), washers (17), nuts (18), and two heater saddle mounts (19) from bracket (15).

INSPECTION AND REPAIR

1.

Check coolant heater and components. See troubleshooting (WP 0070 00). Replace bad heater or components.

2.

Check coolant heater. Replace cracked, damaged, or leaky heater. Replace heater that shows burn-through.
