REPLACE M13 NBC FILTERS AND HOSES (M577A2 ONLY) — Continued

28. Install hose (1) on filter (2) and tube (3) and tighten two clamps (4).

29. Install hose (5) on filter (6) and tube (7) and tighten two clamps (8).

30. If bracket (9) was removed, install on frame (10). Secure with two screws (11), four washers (12), and two new locknuts

(13).

31. Secure hoses (1) and (5) to bracket (9) with new tie straps (14).

32. Install hose (15) on precleaner (16) and tube (3) and tighten two clamps (17).

33. Install hose (18) on precleaner (16) and tube (9) and tighten two clamps (19).

FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS

1.

Connect battery ground lead (WP 0294 00).

2.

Raise and lock ramp (see your -10).

3.

Stop engine (see your -10).

4.

Check air flow of NBC system. See TM 3-6680-316-10.
