REPLACE M13 NBC HEATERS AND MOUNTS (M577A2 ONLY) — Continued

REMOVAL

1.

Disconnect circuit 579C lead (1) from driver’s heater (2).

2.

Loosen two clamps (3) and remove inlet and outlet hoses (4) and (5) from driver’s heater (2).

3.

Remove four screws (6), eight washers (7), four locknuts (8), and driver’s heater (2) from frame (9). Discard locknuts.

4.

Disconnect circuit 537G lead (10) from commander’s heater (11).

5.

Loosen two clamps (12) and remove inlet and outlet hoses (13) and (14) from commander’s heater (11).

6.

Remove four screws (15), lockwashers (16), and commander’s heater (11) from support bracket (17). Discard

lockwashers.

7.

If support bracket (17) is damaged, remove two screws (18), lockwashers (19), and support from forward bulkhead.

Discard lockwashers.

NOTE

If removing frame, see WP 0678 00.

8.

Remove two screws (1), four washers (2), two locknuts (3), and clamps (4) from crossbeam. Remove clamps from

hose (5). Discard locknuts.

9.

Remove hose (5) with two grommets (6) from frame (7).

10. If either grommet (6) is damaged, remove damaged grommet from hose (5). Discard grommet.
