REPLACE COOLANT HEATER FUEL INLET HOSE — Continued

INSTALLATION
WARNING
Adhesive, primer, sealant compounds, and isopropyl alcohol are toxic and flammable. These
compounds are toxic to eyes, skin, and respiratory tract. Continued exposure can make you
dizzy and irritate your eyes and throat.
Always use in well ventilated areas, away from heat, sparks, and flames. Do not breathe fumes.
Do not allow into contact with skin and eyes. Use goggles or face shield and protective gloves.
1.
Apply a light coat of sealing compound to threads of elbow (6).
2.
Install elbow (6) in engine coolant heater (7).
NOTE
Replacing a flareless fuel hose or tube assembly may also require new mating fittings such as
a tee, elbow, or adapter.
3.
Install hose (5) on elbow (6). Place clamp (2) on hose (5).
4.
Install nipple (4) in hose (5).
5.
Install tube (3) on nipple (4).
6.
Align clamp (2) with bulkhead weldnut. Secure with screw (1).
FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS
1.
Open coolant heater fuel shutoff valve (see your -10).
2.
Bleed fuel lines (WP 0599 00).
3.
Start coolant heater (see your -10). Check for fuel leaks. Turn heater off.
4.
Close power plant front access door and raise trim vane (see your -10).
5.
Raise and lock ramp (see your -10).
6.
Stop engine (see your -10).
