Disconnect sliding steer shaft by removing quick-disconnect pin (item 2).

4. Manual steering can now be performed outside of driver's compartment by pushing

the control (item 1) back for right hand movement or forward for left hand movement.

5. Record the BDAR action taken. When mission is completed, as soon as practicable,

repair vehicle using standard maintenance procedures.
