REPLACE COOLANT PUMP IDLER PULLEY/BELTS — Continued

INSTALLATION

1.

If removed, install idler pulley (7) and idler adjusting bracket (2) on engine. Secure with two washers (3) and screws

(4). Do not tighten screws.

NOTE

Drive belts must be replaced in matched sets.

2.

Position two drive belts (5) on three pulleys (1), (6), and (7).

3.

Pryupwardontangofidlerpulleyassembly(2)toget1/4to3/8inchdeflectionondrivebelts(5)midwaybetween

pulleys (1) and (6) while applying a firm push with thumb. Tighten two screws (4).
