Remove four frame mounts (4) from battery box frame (3). Discard mounts.

Remove four screws (6), lockwashers (7), and battery box (8) from carrier. Discard lockwashers.

4.

Remove four locknuts (9), washers (10), screws (11), and two latches (12) from battery box (8). Discard locknuts.

5.

Remove two screws (13), washers (14), and channel divider (15) from battery box frame (3).

CLEANING

CLEANING AND INSPECTION

1.

Clean battery box by soaking in mixture of sodium bicarbonate and water. Dry parts and apply coating. Replace

damaged, corroded, or missing parts.
