REPLACE GOVERNOR ASSEMBLY — Continued

INSTALLATION

1.

Install new governor assembly (5) in transmission (6). Twist governor slightly to the right while inserting it into bore

inside transmission.

2.

Install cover (3) and new gasket (4) on transmission (6). Secure with four washers (2) and new self-locking bolts (1).

TORQUE BOLTS TO 13-15 LB-FT (18-20 N·m). Use torque wrench.

FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS

1.

Install power plant (WP 0156 00).

2.

Close power plant access door. See TM 9-2350-277-10.
