Remove cotter pin (10) and washer (11) from link (4) and shaft (12). Slide link as far off shaft as possible. Discard

cotter pin.

8.

Remove four screws (13), washers (14), and lockwashers (15) from two mount bearings (16). Discard lockwashers.

9.

Remove shaft with attached bearings (16) from driver’s compartment. Have helper assist to catch link (4) in power

plant front access hole. Remove grommet (17) from driver’s compartment bulkhead. Discard grommet. Remove shaft

assembly from carrier.
