INSTALL TOW PINTLE EXTENDER KIT (M113A3 ONLY) — Continued

Install bottom of extender assembly to ramp center hinge (5) using pin (4).

Reinstall two washers (1) between ramp and hull portions of hinge (5). Install washer (1) on pin (4) and secure with

cotter pin (2).

5.

Rotate extender assembly (3) up against ramp rear surface and attach to ramp using screw (4), two washers (2), and nut

(1). TORQUE NUT TO 300 LB-FT (407 N•m). Use torque wrench (WP 0926 00, Item 86) and torque wrench set

(WP 0926 00, Item 73).
