2-18.3 Nonskid Areas

Nonskid coating system conforming to DOD-C-24667, type IA, composition G, grade B, class 1 (item 17, Appx D) will

be used to coat areas where personnel walk, such as front deck plates and crew compartment interiors. This material

is resistant to oils and hydraulic fluids. Areas to be coated are shown below.

• Crew compartment floor will be coated with nonskid coating system as specified

above.

• Shaded areas will be coated with nonskid coating system as specified above.
