Check for restricted or collapsed coolant hoses

. and tubes (para 7-3 and 7-4).

Are there restrictions or collapsed hoses and tubes?

Repair or replace hoses and tubes

(para 7-3 and 7-4).

1. Remove inlet and bypass thermostats

(para 7-8 and 7-9).

2.

Reassemble thermostat housing without

thermostats.

3. Start engine and check if engine still

overheats (TM 9-2350-311-10).

Does engine overheat?

Replace inlet and bypass

thermostats (para 7-8 and 7-9).

Replace pressure relief valve (para 7-5).

If overheating persists, notify support

maintenance.
