1-14.10 Location and Description of Bypass Valve Assembly
The bypass valve assembly (1) is located at the left side of the cab, forward of the gunner’s selector switch box assembly. It
is actuated by solenoid (2). When the cab traversing mechanism is under manual control, the bypass valve assembly redi-
rects hydraulic fluid flow so that it bypasses the traversing mechanism hydraulic motor. During power operation, the tra-
versing mechanism bypass valve closes and the direct current motor drives the traversing mechanism.
