DISASSEMBLY
CAUTION
Take care to prevent damage to machined surfaces, gears, bearings, and other components
during maintenance activities.
1.
Straighten tabs on four key washers (1). Remove four cap screws (2), key washers (1), bearing retainer housing (3),
laminated shim (4), spindle assembly (5), and laminated shim (6) from housing (7). Discard key washers and shims.
2.
Remove encased oil seal (8) and packing (9) from bearing retainer housing (3). Discard oil seal and packing.
3.
Remove packing (10) from housing (7). Discard packing.
