43 Remove 26 springs (39).

44 Using two pairs of slip joint pliers, grasp cross

members on first clutch piston (40) at two points, 180

degrees apart, and remove piston.

Turn first clutch piston (40) over.

Remove preformed packings (41, 42) from first clutch
