WARNING
Starter motor is heavy. Provide adequate support to electric starter to prevent injury to
personnel during removal. Failure to comply may result in injury to personnel.
WARNING
If hoist and sling are not available, use two or more personnel to remove crankshaft.
Crankshaft is heavy and awkward to handle. Serious injury can result if crankshaft is
dropped. Failure to comply may result in injury to personnel.
WARNING
Oil cooler is heavy. Provide adequate support to prevent injury to personnel from cooler
falling during removal. Failure to comply may result in injury to personnel.
WARNING
Never crawl under equipment when performing maintenance unless equipment is securely
blocked. Keep clear of equipment when it is being raised or lowered. Do not allow heavy
components to swing while suspended by lifting device. Exercise caution when working
near a cable or a chain under tension as equipment may drop or shift. Failure to comply
may result in injury to personnel.
