REMOVAL

CAUTION

Do not attempt to pry seal housing

from fan tower: both the seal

housing and fan tower are made of

aluminum and are easily damaged.

1. Remove seal housing (1) from fan

tower (2).

a. Remove six screws (3) with flat

washers (4) securing seal housing (1).

b. Install two mechanical pullers (item 90,

WP 0175) in threaded holes (A) of seal

housing.

Alternately tighten pullers to

remove seal housing (1).

c. Remove and discard gasket (5).

d. Remove seal (6) from oil seal

housing (1).

Discard seal.
