8. Press fan drive hub assembly (32) from ball bearing (41) using an arbor press (30) (item 8, WP

0176).

Discard bearing.

CLEANING

1. See Work Package 0028 for General Cleaning Procedures.

INSPECTION

1. All parts must be inspected with care (WP 0028).

2. Inspect fan drive hub assembly (32) for warpage or loose rivets (42).

Replace fan drive hub

assembly if defects are found.

3. Inspect fan drive hub assembly (32) for raised metal or pitted surfaces caused by ball wear.

Replace fan drive hub assembly if defects are found.

4. Measure outside diameter (A) of fan drive hub assembly (32), using outside micrometer (item

17, WP 0176).

Replace fan drive hub assembly if not within specifications in the following

table.

5. Measure inside diameter (B) of fan drive hub assembly (32), using inside micrometer (item 16,

WP 0176).

Replace fan drive hub assembly if not within specifications in the following table.
