BEFORE ADJUSTMENT

NOTE

The engine has 12 cylinders.

The following procedure applies to one

or all cylinders.

1. Remove upper and lower access covers (1).

a. Remove four screws (2) and four flat washers (3).

b. Remove spacer plate (4), two access covers (1), and two gaskets (5).

c. Discard gaskets (5).
