12. Remove starter harness upper bracket (28).

a. Remove four screws (54) with lock washers (55) and disconnect starter upper wiring

mounting bracket (28).

Discard lock washers.

NOTE

If the starter upper wiring bracket (28) is unserviceable, low voltage

protection module kit, 12254381, should be installed.

Engineering Release Record (EER) CO-G6682 authorizes this

modification kit to provide a replacement starter upper wiring

bracket and to relocate the low voltage protection module to the

starter upper wiring bracket (28).
