3. Remove fairlead halves (5) at detail "C" (two places).

a. Remove one self-locking nut (2) from

screw (3) to remove retainers (6 and 7)

and fairlead halves (5).

Discard self-

locking nut.

4. Remove fairlead halves (5) at detail "D" (two places).

a. Remove one self-locking nut (2) from

screw (8) to remove retainers (6 and 7)

and fairlead halves (5).

Discard self-

locking nut.
